Traxxas 92076-4-VBLU TRX-4 Ford Bronco Blue is a fully assembled 1/10-scale trail and rock crawler built for technical off-road driving. The TRX-4 platform combines portal axles, remote-locking differentials, a two-speed transmission, a waterproof XL-5 HV ESC, and a clipless officially licensed 2021 Ford Bronco body.

Officially Licensed 2021 Ford Bronco Body

The clipless painted body features a black roof and clear windows, LED-ready headlights and tail lights with multi-function capability, a black molded grille with white Bronco logo, replica hood cowl with wipers and folding mirrors, replica spare tire mount, replica door handles, tough PVC fender flares, wheel wells and floor pans, and front and rear Bronco bumpers with skid plate and replica winch.

Clipless Body Mounting

The clipless design creates a smooth body appearance, uses a rugged internal body cage for added rigidity, and mounts body details directly to the internal frame.

Trail-Tuned XL-5 HV Waterproof Electronic Speed Control

The fully waterproof XL-5 HV ESC offers five drive profiles: Sport Mode with forward, brake, and reverse; Race Mode with forward, brake, and no reverse; Training Mode with 50% forward, 100% brake, and 50% reverse; Trail Mode with forward, brake, reverse, and a trail-tuned drag brake in neutral; and Crawl Mode with forward, instant reverse, no neutral, and 100% hill-holding brake. It also includes Traxxas EZ-Set one-button setup, a large efficient heat sink, compatibility with 6 to 7-cell NiMH packs from 7.2 to 8.4 V and 2S to 3S LiPo packs from 7.4 to 11.1 V, and two-stage low-voltage protection.

Titan 550 Motor

The Titan 21T reverse-rotation motor is a high-torque brushed motor with an internal cooling fan, precision preset gear-mesh adjustments, and motor retention separate from gear mesh.

Portal Axles

Portal axles increase ground clearance, help eliminate torque twist, use steel gears, improve axle geometry, and reduce strain on the driveshafts.

TQi 2.4 GHz Radio System

The 4-channel transmitter works with the 6533 5-channel micro receiver, which provides fail-safe security and integrated telemetry ports. The system supports the optional Traxxas Link Wireless Module, stores settings for up to 30 Traxxas Link-enabled models, and includes cruise control for extended trail driving, adjustable steering and throttle sensitivity, adjustable steering and throttle endpoints, and a patented waterproof receiver box with an easy-access plug.

Rigid Steel Frame

One-piece 1.5 mm-thick steel frame rails increase torsional rigidity. The chassis supports four wheelbase positions at 300 mm, 312 mm, 324 mm, and 336 mm, adjustable rear shock-tower positions for short- and long-wheelbase configurations, fore-and-aft adjustable bumpers, width-adjustable rock rails, and integrated wire-routing clips.

Innovative Battery Compartment

The hinged battery strap provides quick access with no pins to lose. The compartment accommodates different battery heights, accepts full-size long battery packs, and can accept smaller 1/16-scale batteries with an optional strap. A secondary front battery tray also accepts smaller 1/16-scale batteries with an optional strap.

Driveline

The full-time shaft-driven 4-wheel-drive system uses tough 6 mm stub axles, steel front CV driveshafts, hardened steel rear axle shafts, remote-locking steel-gear differentials with cable actuation, and a steel-gear transfer case.

Transmission

The two-speed high/low transmission uses remote shifting, dual horizontal shafts, and a twin friction-plate slipper clutch. It can be easily removed for servicing.

Steering

The chassis-mounted 2075X metal-gear digital servo provides a 45-degree steering angle. Direct steering without a servo saver and corrected steering geometry help reduce bump steer.

Suspension

The front suspension uses a 3-link layout with panhard, while the rear uses a triangulated 4-link layout. Heavy-duty rod ends with steel hollow balls, 5 mm-diameter steel link rods, and 4 mm threaded ends provide trail-ready durability.

Aluminum GTS Shocks

Oil-filled coilover GTS shocks are exclusive to the TRX-4 chassis. Silver-anodized aluminum bodies and threaded collars adjust ride height, while O-ring cap seals and dual X-ring shaft seals provide smooth damping on rough trails.

Wheels and Tires

Replica black 2021 Bronco wheels are fitted with pre-mounted 1.9-inch Canyon Trail tires with trail-tuned foam inserts. The tires use a trail-tuned S1 rubber compound and 12 mm steel hexes.

Additional Details

Sealed ball bearings protect the drivetrain and running gear. Hex hardware uses a rust-resistant black oxide coating. Battery and charger are sold separately.
