The Old School Model Works Sky Ranger 40 is a classic balsa sport trainer kit featuring OSMW's exclusive WEB-LOCK wing construction for straight, true builds with minimal fuss. Whether you prefer gentle cruising or aggressive aerobatics, the Sky Ranger 40's wide flight envelope makes it a versatile and rewarding build for sport flyers. As a Vintage R/C Society qualifying design, it's also eligible for vintage and retro RC events.

• Pre-bent 3/16" diameter main landing gear wire

Needed to Complete

• 4-channel radio system and 4 servos (40–70 in/oz, standard size)
• Propeller
• Engine/motor mount and mounting hardware
• "Y" servo harness (for ailerons)
• Pushrods: two 5" (ailerons), two 24" (elevator and rudder), one 12" (throttle if glow)
• Clevises: 8 (electric) or 10 (glow)
• Two 3" diameter main wheels and 1 tailwheel
• Covering (typically 2 rolls)
• Electric: minimum 800W motor, 80A ESC, 4–5S LiPo battery
• Glow: .40–.45 engine, 6 oz tank, fuel tubing
